May Chapter Trek: Cove Fort & Fillmore

It’s time to hit the road again. Our trek committee has been hard at work planning our next trek to the Fillmore Territorial Statehouse and the old Cove Fort. We will have tour guides at both locations, where we will learn about the history of Central Utah while getting to know each other better.

According to trek chairman, David Humphrey, we will begin the tour by meeting together at the Washington Albertson’s parking lot, 915 East Red Cliffs Drive (corner of Red Cliffs Dr. and GreenSprings Dr.) at 7:45am.

We will carpool to Fillmore, arriving about 10:30am. Following our tour of the Statehouse we will enjoy a box lunch on the grounds.  We will then depart for Cove Fort at 1pm. Thistrek will take most of the day.

If you plan to attend please contact David Humphrey at 435-231-3051. Or email him at: deh2942@gmail.com
