Welcome!

As Sons of Utah Pioneers we truly stand on the shoulders of others who have built communities before us. A most successful 2023 year in our chapter saw us hosting the National Encampment convention. We volunteered service hours then attended the rededication of the St. George Temple as part of that noteworthy event. In 2024 we will focus on the word “Dedication” in memory of the first pioneers who settled this valley with faith, hope and sacrifice.

We invite you to join us as we rededicate to be pioneers in our time and build the next generation of pioneers to honor our heritage.

Submit Your Family Pioneer History Stories!

A primary mission of SUP is to "preserve the memory and heritage of the early pioneers of the Utah Territory".  So, we invite anyone who has a pioneer heritage connected to Southern Utah to submit your pioneer history story to be published on our Pioneer History page and shared with others!

How To Submit Your Pioneer History Story

  1. Put your Pioneer History story into a text file, such as a Word document, .txt or .rtf file.
  2. Assemble any related photos you would like to include (if any) and convert them to a digital image.  If you have a scanner, this is pretty easy - but the easiest way may be to snap a picture of your photo with a digital camera or cell phone.
  3. Submit your files below!  That's it!
